CTP Physiotherapy
CTP physiotherapy after a motor vehicle accident
Physiotherapy for people injured in a motor vehicle accident with an eligible NSW Compulsory Third Party (CTP) claim — in clinic or at home.
Injuries after a car accident — such as neck pain (whiplash-associated disorders), back pain and soft-tissue injuries — can affect sleep, work and daily activities.
If you have an eligible NSW CTP claim, physiotherapy may be funded by the CTP insurer, subject to their approval and the scheme's requirements.
What to bring
To help set up your treatment:
- Your CTP claim number and insurer details
- Any referral or reports from your GP or hospital
- Details of your injuries and current symptoms
Treatment
Treatment may include pain management strategies, movement rehabilitation, progressive strengthening and functional recovery, with the aim of returning to work and daily activities. We provide reports to your insurer and GP as required.
We'll confirm what your insurer has approved before treatment so there are no surprises.
